Welcome to MPI Academy. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, www.mpiacademy.co.in (“Website”), and the services, courses, and content offered by MPI Healthcare Educations Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as “Institute”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing our Website, enrolling in a course, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use our Website or services.
1. Enrollment and User Accounts
- Eligibility: To enroll in our courses, you must meet the minimum eligibility criteria specified on the respective course page on our Website. It is your sole responsibility to review these criteria before making a payment.
- Account Registration: You may be required to register for an account to access our online courses. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
- Admission Process: Admission to any online course is provisional and will only be confirmed after successful verification of the required documents and receipt of the full or initial installment of the course fees.
- Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your account login credentials. You are strictly prohibited from sharing your username and password with any other person. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
2. Fees, Payments, and Refunds
- Course Fees: All course fees are listed on our Website and are subject to change. Fees can be paid online via a payment link provided by the Institute or through the Igenius App, or offline via Cash.
- Installment Payments: We may offer installment plans for certain courses. If you opt for an installment plan, you are obligated to pay each installment by the specified due date.
- Late Payment Penalty: Failure to pay an installment on time will result in a late payment penalty of ₹500. The Institute reserves the right to suspend your access to the course until the outstanding payment and penalty are cleared.
- Refund Policy: Our refund policy is strict and is as follows:
- A refund request will only be considered if the Institute fails to deliver the promised lectures or practical training. The burden of proof for such non-delivery lies with the student.
- All refund requests must be submitted in writing to our official email address within seven (7) days from the date of admission.
- If a refund is approved, only 40% of the total amount paid by the student will be refunded. The remaining 60% is non-refundable and covers administrative and processing charges.
- No refund will be provided under any circumstances if the request is made after seven (7) days from the date of admission.
- A student shall forfeit their right to any refund if they are consistently absent for more than three (3) consecutive days without prior written notification and approval from the Institute.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
All course content, materials, lectures (online and offline), videos, notes, PDFs, graphics, assessments, and the MPI Academy name and logo are the exclusive intellectual property of MPI Healthcare Educations Private Limited.
- You are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the course materials for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes only.
- You are strictly prohibited from copying, reproducing, recording, distributing, sharing, modifying, reselling, or publicly displaying any of our content without our express prior written consent.
4. User Conduct and Obligations
As a user of our services, you agree to:
- Not engage in cheating or any form of academic dishonesty on assessments.
- Maintain professional and respectful conduct during all theory lectures, practical training sessions, and any functions or events organized by the Institute.
- Not post, share, or transmit any content that is illegal, offensive, defamatory, or harmful.
- Not spread any misinformation or malicious statements regarding MPI Academy or MPI Healthcare Educations Private Limited on any platform, including social media.
Violation of these conduct rules may result in strict disciplinary action, including, but not limited to:
- A formal warning for minor or unintentional infractions.
- Immediate suspension of your admission and access to services.
- Permanent termination from the course without any refund.
5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- For Educational Purposes Only: The content provided in our courses is for educational and informational purposes only. It is not intended to be, and should not be considered as, professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- No Guarantee of Employment: While we offer a Job Assistance program, we do not guarantee employment, career advancement, or passing of any external certification exam upon completion of a course. Our Job Assistance is subject to specific eligibility criteria (including but not limited to a minimum of 75% attendance in theory and practicals and securing over 75% marks in all assessments), which must be met by the student.
- “As-Is” Service: The Website and its content are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
- Limitation of Liability: In no event shall the Institute, its directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. The Institute’s total liability in any matter arising out of or related to these Terms is limited to the total course fees paid by you.
6. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
7. Amendments to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Website and our services after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
